accreditation,  which is a tough standard to accomplish, we pose
no threat to the stability and cleanliness of our surroundings.
Keeping pace with the changes
in the industry enables us to keep our impact on the environment
to a minimum. This and other changes have resulted in our being
awarded IS0 14001. With constant monitoring and
improvements we intend to build on our success in the future. |

QUALITY & ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY STATEMENT
The following are the key elements of the Company's quality and environmental policy:
- The Company shall maintain a quality system which complies with
ISO 9001:2000 and an environmental system which complies with BS EN ISO 14001.
- The Company is committed to continuous improvement, pollution prevention and strict compliance with relevant legal and statutory obligations.
- The Company shall purchase products and services only from approved suppliers who demonstrate that they meet the Company's specified quality and environmental standards.
- The Company shall give preference to customers who demonstrate compliance with the principles of the environmental standard and who take steps to control potential environmental effects of their
organisations.
- This statement of policy is understood, implemented and maintained throughout the organization. It shall be the responsibility of all personnel to effectively implement this policy.
- The policy statement is available to the public upon request; it shall also be publicly displayed at the weighbridge office where it may be viewed by any person entering the site.
- The appointed Director has ultimate responsibility for the effective operation of the quality and environmental systems. The appointed Management Representatives shall be responsible for ensuring that the systems are implemented and maintained, that problems are identified and that corrective action is initiated and confirmed to have been effective.
