vehicles are scrapped in
the U.K. each year. The
new End of Life
Vehicle
Directive ensures that
vehicles are now
de-polluted
of all
hazardous wastes
before
they are destroyed.
Currently 75-80% of materials (by weight) in an ELV are recycled in
this Country. This means the draining of all oils, fuels, brake lines as well as the degassing
of the air conditioning systems and seat belt pre-tensioners.
At our custom built De-pollution plant, Robert Gibbs aim to provide a fast, friendly and
professional solution to dealing with scrap vehicles, Insurance Write-Offs, MOT failures and
abandoned vehicles.
You can bring your vehicle to us, or we can offer a collection service for your End of Life
Vehicle currently covering approximately 10-15 Mile radius of Hoddesdon from Harlow to
Hatfield and Enfield to Royston.
We issue a Certificate of Destruction for every vehicle we receive. This is where the vehicle
is processed directly with the DVLA and an online Certificate is issued from them to the
holder of the vehicle.
